- Teacher Responsibilities and Content Ownership
a. Teacher Qualifications: Teachers who add courses to the Website must possess the necessary qualifications, credentials, and expertise to teach the subject matter they offer. Yidemy may, at its discretion, require proof of qualifications or credentials prior to allowing a teacher to offer courses on the Website.
b. Course Content: Teachers are responsible for creating and providing accurate, high-quality, and up-to-date course content. Teachers warrant that the content they create and provide does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, and that they have the necessary permissions and licenses to use any third-party materials included in their courses.
c. Content Ownership: By submitting course content to the Website, teachers agree to grant Yidemy an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works from such content in connection with the Website and its associated marketing and promotional activities. This includes the right to sublicense these rights to third parties. Teachers warrant that they have the necessary permissions and licenses to grant these rights to Yidemy and that the content they create and provide does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
d. Compliance with Laws: Teachers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in creating and providing course content, including but not limited to, data protection, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
e. Teacher Conduct: Teachers must adhere to the same User Conduct guidelines set forth in Section 3 of this policy and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with students, other teachers, and Yidemy staff.
f. Removal of Content: Yidemy reserves the right to remove or modify any course content at its sole discretion, without prior notice, if it believes the content violates these Terms, infringes on third-party rights, or is otherwise objectionable or inappropriate.
- Updates to the Policy
Yidemy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the end of the Terms will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
